Day Air Credit Union Promotes Holli Davis to Director of Business Banking
Kettering, Ohio, August 11, 2020 – Day Air Credit Union, the largest financial institution headquartered in Montgomery County, is excited to announce the promotion of Holli Davis to the position of Director of Business Banking. In her new role, Holli will build relationships with present and potential business members to enhance their usage of business banking products and services to drive their ROI.
“We are excited to put Holli in this well-deserved new leadership role in our organization,” said Bill Burke, President and CEO. “This new role will allow Holli to reach more business members and have a large impact on the community providing our members with a better banking experience.”
Holli has been with Day Air for nine years serving in a variety of roles, including Member Service, Accounting Representative, Branch Manager, and most recently as the Campus Relationship Coordinator. As Campus Relationship Coordinator, she developed and coached associates at Day Air’s VA and University of Dayton branch locations. In addition to associate development, Holli was successful in facilitating and strengthening new and existing relationships with Day Air’s community partners.
Holli fostered relationships with the Dayton VA community by developing educational seminars to enhance financial empowerment and hosted numerous community appreciation events. She taught financial wellness to veterans through budget and credit counseling and educated first-generation college students on the impact of important financial decisions.
Holli volunteers at various organizations, including the Dayton VA Medical Center, the Miami Valley Military History Museum and SICSA Pet Adoption Center. Through her volunteer efforts she has served annual Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas brunch to veterans and their families, co-chaired the VA’s annual Community Living Center holiday party, participated in the restoration and dedication of the VA Grotto WWII Memorial Garden, distributed gift bags to veterans in dialysis, and more.
Holli graduated from Sinclair Community College in 2011 with an Associate of Science in Business Management. She then attended Franklin University where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, giving her the foundation for her successful career in the financial services industry.
